Summary

Komugi, the reformed delinquent who can’t do a lick of housework, recruited her kid brother-in-law in an effort to hide her secret failings as she works to better herself before the rest of her husband’s family realizes the truth。 Komugi is a sore loser and can swear like a sailor, but the more time they spend together, Dai learns that she is also sincere and courageous, and one day he realizes that he might just be falling for her—the one girl he absolutely can’t have!

As if that wasn’t enough for a high school junior to deal with, now Dai’s classmate, Yoshino (who has a bit of a crush on him), starts getting curious about Komugi's past。。。

I bought this 4-volume series because the art reminded me of Moyoco Anno and the premise seemed sort of kooky。 But it's more cliche than risque。 I thought I would like it better。。。 but it's not as delinquent as it sounds I bought this 4-volume series because the art reminded me of Moyoco Anno and the premise seemed sort of kooky。 But it's more cliche than risque。 I thought I would like it better。。。 but it's not as delinquent as it sounds 。。。more

I'm not sure how I feel about this one, it was a somewhat fun and mercifully quick read but so disappointing。 Former biker gang member tries to become a model housewife sounded like a fun premise but so far this is just everyone lying about everything to everyone else, little sister being a spoiled brat, little brother being a creep, grandpa being a perv and mother in law being completely oblivious to everything and the titular delinquent housewife being an even bigger spoiled brat than little s I'm not sure how I feel about this one, it was a somewhat fun and mercifully quick read but so disappointing。 Former biker gang member tries to become a model housewife sounded like a fun premise but so far this is just everyone lying about everything to everyone else, little sister being a spoiled brat, little brother being a creep, grandpa being a perv and mother in law being completely oblivious to everything and the titular delinquent housewife being an even bigger spoiled brat than little sister。 Oh and dear husband remains unreachable, in the age of ubiquitous smartphones and social media, and no one is concerned。。。 I bought all 4 volumes so I'll finish the series but lesson learned, if it's not from an author I already know and love, I'm not buying a new series based on an intriguing premise alone。 。。。more

I loved the first volume and bought the other three volumes on impulse, and it went downhill from there。 The humor was a bit too cringey for me, I didn't particular care for the story or the characters。 It wasn't bad but this isn't something that I would particular revisit。 I loved the first volume and bought the other three volumes on impulse, and it went downhill from there。 The humor was a bit too cringey for me, I didn't particular care for the story or the characters。 It wasn't bad but this isn't something that I would particular revisit。 。。。more

JoseiSeinen Recommendation~As The Delinquent Housewife, Vol。 2 shifts the focus away from Komugi and more towards her littler-brother-in-law Dai, the storyline becomes a little trope-y, but its genderbent twist keeps it from being a complete cliche。 (Although I did enjoy the self-acknowledgement of its trope with its inclusion of a manga-within-a-manga of a younger brother sister in love with his her older brother's sister's wife boyfriend。) Still fun, still interested in the characters, so chee JoseiSeinen Recommendation~As The Delinquent Housewife, Vol。 2 shifts the focus away from Komugi and more towards her littler-brother-in-law Dai, the storyline becomes a little trope-y, but its genderbent twist keeps it from being a complete cliche。 (Although I did enjoy the self-acknowledgement of its trope with its inclusion of a manga-within-a-manga of a younger brother sister in love with his her older brother's sister's wife boyfriend。) Still fun, still interested in the characters, so cheers to Volume 3~ 。。。more

Im not entirely sure what the romance is supposed to be。 Also that cliffhanger tho。。。。

I wish Komugi did not have the vibe of a Manic Pixie Dream Girl, but here we are。 I do wonder how the story will play out in the final two volumes; however, i don’t think the manga as a whole will be remarkable enough to own and reread。
